Inline flash mixers provide an instantaneous high pumping rate, high shear mixing action in a process pipeline. These are direct drive or gear driven mixers with a mechanical seal installed in a pipe spool at our factory. Pipe spool materials and internal coatings can be selected to match the process piping. Injection ports can be added upstream
Mixtec typically designs its inline flash mixers with a pumping rate equal to the process flow rate to ensure complete mixing within a very short contact time. While these units do not fit the classical description of a rapid mixer, they are sometimes used for this purpose when site conditions do not allow for a proper rapid mixing chamber.
Inline Static Mixers allow for in situ mixing of fluids in a pipeline with no moving parts. Static mixers are low to no maintenance that deliver reliable results and can be installed into existing pipework.
With a wide variety of applications static mixers vary widely in their materials of construction. Mixtec manufactures its INSTAMIX range from plastics and steels such as: HDPE, PVC, UPVC & PVDF, Polypropylene, 304L/316L/904L Stainless steel, Hastelloys, Alloy 2205 & 2507 and Titanium. In order to make our static mixers more cost effective, we also offer a range of coatings that can be applied to the mixer internals for chemical resistance without the added cost of manufacturing the entire mixer from expensive alloys. Our coatings include: Epoxy, Rubber, Halar & Ultralar (ECTFE), Fiberglass, PTFE and Polishing.
Static Mixers are designed specifically to suit your application, with the option of having chemical injection ports. With static mixers exceeding 7 ft in diameter, we are confident we can handle even the largest installations.
